Last discussion I heard was that Rockler had the Rikon 80-805 for ~$150.
Amazon also has it for the same price and it arrives in a day or two.
I found the same thing without the aluminum ox discs. for only $100: https://rikontools.com/product/80-805m-rikon-8-1-2-hp-motor-only-1750-rpm/ but it has $35 shipping. If you were going to buy CBN wheels anyway this would still save a few dollars
Based on the discussion in the sharpening class I recently attended, People seemed to agree that wider CBN wheels are better. The usefulness of grit on the side was debated. I have selected these for myself:

I figure since I will only buy these one time why not get the grit on the side just in case.
This company does sell wheels without "side grit" and narrower for less money.
