Meetings - 1st Thursday of the month

Meeting Location - Multnomah Arts Center – A great location (7688 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97219) and excellent venue with good parking and easy access for East and West side members. It has a state-of-the-art video/audio system for excellent viewing of demonstrations.

Quarterly Series of Classes – NWWT has a series of classes each quarter for beginners and intermediate turners.  Start turning by learning the right and safest techniques.  Classes include sharpening, spindle turning and bowl turning basics and project based classes for intermediate turners.  This is in addition to classes put on by visiting turners.

Web ForumMembers also have access to the private NWWT forum website to participate in discussions, sharing of pictures, and posing questions to the membership.

PayPal allows a certain number of “Guest” checkouts where you can just enter your credit card number rather than open an account.  After you have exceeded their "Guest" Checkouts you will need an account.

Your membership card will show up under your profile (click on your name in the upper right) and select View Profile.  Your membership card will be displayed, and you can then make a .pdf of the card.  If local vendors ask, you can show it to them on your smartphone.
