There were 6-8 of us there. The huge main trunk was still standing when we left. We just cut up the main stem and large limbs that were on the ground and cleaned up. I was after spindle stock. The others were there for the bowls and platters. This wood with 2 coats of wax sealer did not check, even when left square or in a full or half round for 2 years. The wood is medium in color and very pretty up close, but not striking from a distance. It turns like Norway maple.
