what's the going rate for a 24"x24"x10" maple burl?

    A friend contacted me about a maple burl he has (dimensions in subject line.  Photo attached.  Anyone know what he could expect someone to pay for it?

    Milwaukee hardwoods charges $2 or $2.50 a pound for maple burl. That being said, that is for dried wood so the equivalent might be closer to half that.

    Also if he wants to sell it please let me know!
