Howard Borer, one of the founders of Cascade, has arranged for a big wood and tool sale at his shop in Boring for this weekend.  The wood is mostly local hardwoods, including maple and walnut, and the tools are mostly metal-working tools.  A lot of wood is suitable for turners and there are lots of rough turned pieces that have been drying for two years or more.

Howard says there's lots of wood and it's all priced to go.

The sale is this Saturday, Oct 2nd, from 8 AM to 3 PM, and this Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM.  The sale is in Howard's shop at 25275 SE Hoffmeister Rd in Damascus, Oregon.
