Thin wall turning and piercing - maybe Pyrography

Thursday, October 3

Multnomah Art Center

6:30 - 9:00

Roger Crooks will be our demonstrator showing how he made a thin wall candle holder decorated using a NSK Rotary Tool (320,000 rpm).  If time permits, he will use pyrography to burn a baseball pattern on a sphere.

This is an easy way to get into thin wall work using forester bits for the majority of hollowing and then getting down to 1/16" or less wall for piercing.
